Where did it all begin?
Da KiD K, is a rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur from Columbia, Maryland. He credits his debut success to a appearance on 93.9WKYS at age 13 years old. Since then K has relocated to Atlanta, GA. Along the way he has performed, worked, and been cosigned by names such as Wale, K Camp, Soulja Boy, Fat Trel, Yung L.A, Damar Jackson, JR Writer, Coca Vango, and more. In February of 2019, K signed to Sony/The Orchard. 'Heartbreak', his debut project under the label, released on June 20th, 2019.
Whats Next?
Da Kid K delivers an authentic, and polished new sound. After moving from Miami to Atlanta, K, landed himself a opportunity to perform as an opening act on tour with K Camp. K has since recently been seen working with Platinum selling and Grammy nominated super producers such as Sonny Digital, Mike Will Made It, The Trillionaire$, The Justice Leauge and more. Could something big be in the works?
Be Inspired By All Music
Inspired by legends of the '90s and '2000s, K grew up listening to artists such as Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G., DMX, 50 Cent, and Lil Wayne'. Although he was heavily inspired by Hip-Hop, he credits his first musical inspiration to be Michael Jackson. K states that a lot of his style was cultivated by listening to all genres of music, not just Hip-Hop.
